Welcome to our Practice
Services We Provide
We offer simple extractions as well as surgical extractions. However, more complex extractions, such as impacted wisdom teeth, may be referred to a specialist (oral surgeon) for removal.
We fabricate either Full Dentures or Partial Dentures depending on your needs. Our dentures and partials are made in local dental laboratories and are of the highest quality.
Crowns Crowns are dental restorations, also known as 'caps', which are coverings that fit over teeth. They are the restoration of choice when a filling will no longer suffice. A large filling can actually act as a wedge, and weaken the tooth. Those teeth with large fillings are more prone to breaking and/or splitting. A crown actually supports and protects the remaining tooth structure, and can improve the overall appearance of your teeth! You may need a crown for the following reasons: Your tooth has a very large cavity(decay) Your tooth has had a root canal(endodontic treatment) Your tooth has a large, weak filling and the existing tooth structure can no longer support another filling You have Cracked Tooth Syndrome(CTS), where a tooth may exhibit pain upon pressure, which can be a sign of an internal fracture. The only way to prevent the tooth from flexing and/or splitting is to place a crown To replace a failing or unacceptable existing crown For cosmetic improvements When missing teeth ar replaced with a bridge, the adjacent teeth require crowns in order to support the replacement teeth Crowns can be made of several different materials, each of which may be indicated for different situations: Gold Porcelain Fused to Metal(a metal substructure with a porcelain covering for better esthetics) All-Ceramic (porcelain with NO metal, for optimal esthetics)
Dental Implants can replace missing teeth instead of fixed bridges or partial dentures. They can hold dentures in place with attachments to the dentures.
Tooth Colored Fillings
Composite Fillings The advantage that they have over amalgam fillings is that they are bonded to your natural tooth, which eliminates the need for more extensive tooth removal and thus, it is a more conservative restoration. Composite fillings do not contain mercury and are tooth colored.
